ময়মনসিংহের ভালুকা থেকে দীনা খান (৪৩) নামে এক নারী সাংবাদিকের লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ।
রোববার সকাল ১১টার দিকে পৌরসভার মেজর ভিটা মহল্লা থেকে লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ।
জানা গেছে, তিনি দৈনিক আজকের সংবাদ পত্রিকার ভালুকা উপজেলা প্রতিনিধি হিসেবে কর্মরত ছিলেন। তিনি গফরগাঁও উপজেলার বাসিন্দা। তিনি মৃত আব্দুর রাজ্জাকের স্ত্রী। তার দুই ছেলে রয়েছে।
ভালুকা থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) মাইন উদ্দিন বলেন, ‘রবিবার সকাল ১১টার দিকে পৌরসভার মেজরভিটা মহল্লায় ভাড়া বাসা থেকে দীনা খানের ঝুলন্ত লাশ উদ্ধার করা হয়। ঘরের দরজা খুলতে দেরি হওয়ায় স্থানীয়দের সন্দেহ হয়। পরে থানায় খবর দিলে পুলিশ গিয়ে দরজা ভেঙে ঝুলন্ত লাশ উদ্ধার করে। লাশ ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য ময়মনসিংহ মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতাল মর্গে পাঠানো হয়েছে।’
